Donations are very important to any thriving organization just like nectar and pollen is to a growing colony of honeybees. We at Shelby County Beekeepers Association-SCBA appreciate every cent we receive. We are a young yet flourishing group of beekeepers and have much growing to do. We bolster some of  ‘the best’ seasoned Alabama Beekeepers in the state. We know that time is of the essence, so we work quickly to harness that knowledge to pass it on to the next generation. We, at SCBA recognize that our organization functions from the generous donations of a few, gathering one-dollar at a time. We thank you ahead of time for furthering the cause of growing honeybee populations throughout focusing our stated goals below of “BEES“.

Bee ~ The Bee is our focus.
Environment ~ The Bee completes the circle of life in the Environment.
Education ~ To know the life cycle of a bee through Education, enhances everyones’ appreciation for this insect.
Service ~ Through service projects with fellow beekeepers in the community and abroad extends the life of the hive.
