SCBA owns both the Maxant 3100 hand-crank extractor and the Brushy Mountain Deluxe Extractor
which are built of stainless steel. The Maxant has a conical bottom maximizing drainage with an inner basket that can hold up to nine frames.
The inner basket is 100% stainless steel. The Maxant will extract wood or plastic
frames with no modifications. Extracts 6 medium/shallows radially and
3 deeps/medium-shallows tangentially. Radially means it will sling honey
from both sides-no need for turning. Tangentially means you will have to
remove the frame, turn it around and sling the honey out from the
other side.

Th Brushy Mountain Compact Deluxe Extractor will hold 4 shallow (5 3/8″), 4 medium (6 1/4″), or two brood frames (9 1/8″) each time you extract. This extractor only slings tangentially. Removal is necessary for both sides.
CLEAN-UP for both is easy by laying them on their side on a large towel on the countertop, next to your sink.
Spray theinside with very hot water for a minute or so. You may add a
mild soapy water ONLY and thoroughly rinse with very hot water. FINISH BY
wiping dry with a low lint cloth. Allow to finish with air drying before placing
back into the box.
